"The tracks on this lathe were recorded last year at Brooklyn's legendary Sunview Luncheonette, in duo with saxophonist Jeff Tobias. Tobias is probably best known for this work with psych outfit Sunwatchers, but his alto work here is like an odd cross between Jim Horn and Jon Gibson. Which means good! A perfect match for Brewer's Eastern-tinged string work. Symbiotic!"
